Banana Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C Butter room temperature
  • 2C Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 TBS Cinnamon
  • 3 Fresh Bananas peeled and cut in chunks
  • 1/4C Heavy cream
  • 1/4C Kahlua
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 TBS Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Hot Banana Sauce:

  1. Melt 1C Butter in sauce pan.
  2. Add 1C Brown sugar.
  3. Bring to boil over medium heat stirring often. Avoid burning.
  4. Add heavy cream and mix.
  5. Add Kaluha
  6. Add 1 C banana
  7. Add pinch of salt.
  8. Reduce heat.

Mixing Bowl:

  1. Add 1C butter.
  2. Add 1C brown sugar and cinnamon mixed together.
  3. Add heavy cream.
  4. Whisk by hand or use electric mixer till smooth.
  5. Add eggs and use spatula to mix and smooth.
  6. Fold in remaining bananas and mix.
  7. Add flour and baking soda and mix.
  8. Add TBS of hot sauce and mix.
  9. Add pinch of salt and mix.
  1. Place 1C glass serving cups in shallow pan with warm water covering pan.
  2. Fill glass 3/4 cups full.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and serve warm topped with hot banana sauce.
