Broiled Lobster Tail

Ingredients

  • 1 lobster tail
  • 1 Tbs. Olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 cup grated parmesan

Instructions

  1. Place lobster tail into a sauté pan with olive oil.
  2. Heat the lobster until the meat pulls away from the shell.
  3. May add water to speed the cooking process.
  4. Remove the lobster tail from pan and cut down the middle of the shell with kitchen shears.
  5. Pull the meat out so that it is exposed but still attached to the shell.
  6. Butterfly the meat by slicing down the middle.
  7. Set aside to broil later.
  8. Add heavy cream to a pot and bring to a simmer.
  9. Add garlic.
  10. Add breadcrumbs and parmesan and mix all together.
  11. Spread that mixture on top of the lobster meat.
  12. Place under a broiler and cook until the topping is lightly browned.
