Ingredients
- 1/4 Cup Gorgonzola Cheese
- 2 Sheets of Phyllo Dough
- 2 Poached Pears
- 8oz. Lollo Rossa Lettuce or Mixed Greens
- 3 Tbsp. Vinaigrette
Instructions
- Take a poached pear, and stuff with Gorgonzola cheese.
- Wrap stuffed pear with Phyllo dough
- Using a flat top griddle, saute the Philo until golden brown on all sides, and edges
- Prepare lettuce in mixing bowl, adding vinaigrette and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix well
To Serve:
- On a rectangular plate, arrange lettuce neatly on one side of plate
- Add Phyllo to opposite side
- Using a Port reduction, add dots on edge of Phyllo
- Add extra vinaigrette to center of plate between Phyllo and lettuce.
- Serve.
