Tofu with Pork

Ingredients

  • 1lb. Package of Tofu
  • 1lb. Ground Pork
  • 2 Green Onions – Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger Root – Grated
  • 1 Tbsp. Cooking Wine
  • ½ Tsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Corn Starch
  • 1 Tsp. Soy Sauce
  • ¼ Cup Water Celery – Finely Chopped

Instructions

  1. Slice Tofu open, and drain juice into small mixing bowl.
  2. Chop green onions and add to ground pork in another mixing bowl
  3. Peel ginger root, and grate into pork
  4. Add in cooking wine, sugar, corn starch and soy sauce.
  5. Mix ingredients into meat
  6. Chop celery and set aside
  7. Render pan hot with olive oil, add in celery and stir constantly to prevent burning
  8. Add in pork and mix with celery, letting the meat cook and separate
  9. Cut tofu into ½” cubes, and add into saute pan
  10. Heat thoroughly, season with salt and pepper if needed
  11. To Serve, on large serving plate, spoon tofu and pork into center of plate
