Warm Vietnamese Beef Salad

Ingredients

  • One quater cup of fish sauce.
  • One and half cup of sugar.
  • One and half cup of lime juice.
  • Three tablespoons of sambal.
  • Six garlic chopped minced.
  • Kosher salt
  • Beef
  • Ground pepper
  • One big tomato
  • Mint
  • Cilantro
  • Cucumber

Instructions

For dressing:

  1. Pour fish sauce, sugar, lime juice in a bowl stir it well
  2. Add garlic chopped and minced
  3. Add sambal
  4. Heat pan
  5. Add kosher salt and freshly ground pepper on both side of beef.
  6. Cook beef on both side till golden brown.
  7. Slice it.

For salad:

  1. Peel cucumber partially and dice it.
  2. Cut one tomato and dice it.
  3. Finely chopped mint and basil.
  4. Cut thin slices of beef.
  5. Chop some cilantro.
  6. Add sliced beef to the salad bowl. Pour salad dressing on it.
