Are we eating healthy? If you are and would and would like to share your experiences, I would love to hear from you. Email me at dominic@cheflive.com.
I know I’m feeling better. Before I was working so much, I never took the time to sit down and eat and I never exercised. I know I needed to make a change because I was tired all of the time and getting through the day was difficult. Running up the stairs and carrying things into the store wore me out. I wanted to stop feeling so lethargic.
I started off small and walked on the treadmill. Sure, the first day, I thought I was going to die but I stuck through it and started increasing my time little by little. Now I’m up to 45 minutes everyday and I’ve started swimming laps and working out. I am going to start playing racquetball on Sundays. It’s insane exercise and it gives me a chance to catch up with my friends.
If you don’t exercise now, get started and simply do some stretches while you’re watching TV. Here are some stretches to get you started. [get some pictures or a link of some stretches.] The hardest part is getting started so after you’ve done stretches for a couple of days, grab your sweetie, head outside and take a walk.
Prior to realizing I needed to change, I ate a lot of bread and white flour because it was filling and quick.
If you’re going to make any changes, one of the easiest is to cut back on the amount of white flour you’re using. You can do this by switching from white bread to wheat bread or you can substitute spelt or whole grain flour in place of white flour. Most major grocery stores now carry either spelt or whole grain flour.
Now, I have more energy and I have more enthusiasm to do things and accomplish more.
