Pepperoni Roll-ups

Summary: This fast and fabulous finger food is sure to be a hit with busy day. A longtime favorite Italian food. Each savory bite boasts gooey, melted cheese and real pizza flavor.

20 minutes

Number of servings (yield): 6

Ingredients for pepperoni rollups

  • 1 Big onion
  • 2-3 tablespoons of Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • 1 tablespoon Oregano
  • Salt
  • 1 canned tomato
  • Lasagna noodles
  • 1 big bowl Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small bowl Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small bowl Swiss cheese

Get Ready To Work in “Real Time” to Make pepperoni roll-ups

Get out these items and utensils: Knife for cutting & chopping, 1 big bowl, 1 sauce pan, baking dish

Get from your pantry: Onion, garlic, oregano, sage, noodles, olive oil, salt, tomato can

Get from your refrigerator:  Mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, fresh parsley

Pre-prepare the following:

  • Open tomato can and put it in big bowl and mash it a little.
  • Cut onion into small pieces.
  • Chop fresh parsley.
  • Boil the lasagna noodles.
  • Preheat the oven at 350 degrees.

Begin to cook with Mrs. G

Prepare the sauce:

  1. Pour olive oil in the pan.
  2. Add fresh parsley to the pan.
  3. Add oregano in the pan.
  4. Put sage and cook it for 20 seconds.
  5. Add tomatoes in to the pan and sprinkle little salt in it.
  6. Cook the sauce in small-medium flame for 2-3 hours.

Prepare pepperoni roll-ups:

  1. Mix thoroughly all kind of cheeses in the bowl.
  2. Lay lasagna and layer it completely with the cheese from the bowl.
  3. Put 2-3 pepperonis on the top of cheese.
  4. Roll up the lasagna noodles.
  5. Take the baking sheet and pour 6-7 tablespoons of sauce on it.
  6. Put lasagna roll-ups in it.
  7. Pour sauce on the top of each of the roll-ups.
  8. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on it.
  9. Bake roll-ups for 20 minutes
