Ingredients for Breakfast of champions
- 3 eggs
- 3 turkey bacon stripes
- 1 heirloom tomato
- Mix of green (lettuce, baby spinach, arugula, red oak) for salad
- 1 Tablespoon each raspberries and blackberries
- Olive oil
Get Ready To Work in “Real Time” to Make Breakfast of champions:
Get out these items and utensils: Knife for chopping, 1 medium size bowl, 2 Teflon pan
Get from your pantry: Olive oil
Get from your refrigerator: Heirloom tomato, turkey bacon stripes, mix of lettuce, baby spinach, arugula, red oak, raspberries and blackberries
Pre-prepare the following:
- Break the eggs. Break 1 with yolk and remove yolk from 2 eggs.
- Finely dice heirloom tomatoes.
Begin to prepare Breakfast of champions with Chef Ghione:
- Heat both the pans.
- Put turkey bacon stripes on first pan. Do not let that burn. Cook till it gets crisp.
- Pour 1 teaspoon olive oil in the second pan. Pour the eggs and make it like crepe.
- Fill finely diced heirloom tomatoes in the omelet.
To serve:
- Lay the bacon stripes from the pan in the plate.
- Put omelet in the side.
- Put the green salad add raspberries, blackberries and sprinkles some olive oil on it.
- Lay wedge cut heirloom tomato on the turkey bacon stripes.
