Ingredients for Shrimp wrapped Zucchini
- 1 Big onion
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 ½ bowl baby carrots
- ½ cup cream
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4-5 bay leaves
- 2-3 twigs of thymes
- 2 inches ginger
- Fresh parsley leaves
- Rooster sauce
- French bread
- Mozzarella cheese
- 3-4 tablespoons of butter
- Cooking oil
- salt
Get Ready To Work in “Real Time” to Make Carrot soup:
Get out these items and utensils: Knife for chopping, 1 sauce pan, 1 frying pan
Get from pantry: Onion, oil, salt, cinnamon stick, rooster sauce, bay leaves
Get from refrigerator: Vegetable broth, cream, thyme, fresh parsley, French bread, mozzarella, Baby carrots, and butter
Pre-prepare the following
- Dice onion
- Roughly make small pieces of baby carrot
- Peel and roughly chop ginger
Begin to cook with Chef Simmons:
- Heat the sauce pan.
- Pour 1 table spoon of cooking oil and 1 table spoon of butter.
- Add diced onion into the pan followed by 2 twigs of thyme leaves, bay leaves and cinnamon stick. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add baby carrots into the sauce pan and ginger. Cook it for 10-13 minutes till carrots get tender.
- Pour vegetable stalk and boil it for another 4-5 minutes.
- Sprinkle salt according to taste.
- Pour cream and cook for 2 minutes.
- Take out thyme leaves, bay leaves, cinnamon bark and throw it away.
- Shift rest everything from the sauce pan into the food processor and make puree.
- Add 2 -3 table spoons of rooster sauce in the food processor and mix thoroughly.
Prepare mini cheese croutons:
- Slice French bread into round shape.
- Lay cheese slices in between the two slices of bread and make sandwich
- Apply butter on each side of the sandwich
- Heat the frying pan and lay the sandwich on the pan and roat it till both the sides get little brown in color.,
- Make small cubical pieces of the sandwich as shown in the video.
To Serve:
- Lay the croutons on the serving plate
- Pour soup around the croutons
- Garnish with finely chopped parsley.
