Mojito

Summary: A refreshing cocktail made with lime juice, rum, club soda and fresh mint.

Ingredients for Mojito

  • 4 fresh limes
  • Handful of mint
  • 10 oz of Light brown rum
  • 150 ml of Simple syrup
  • 300-350 ml of Club soda
  • Roses cocktail lime juice (equal quantity as of fresh lime juice)
  • Ice

Get Ready To Work in “Real Time” to Make Mojito:

Get out these items and utensils: Knife for chopping, Pitcher, muddler, cocktail tumbler

Get from your pantry: Club soda, Rum, Simple syrup,

Get from your refrigerator: Lime, Mint, Ice

Pre-prepare the following:

  • Cut and squeeze 3 limes in a bowl and save the peel of 2 limes.
  • Put little ice in the cocktail tumbler and handful of mint in it.
  • With the help of muddler break up the mint.

Begin to prepare with Chef Simmons:

  1. Put the ice and broken mint into the pitcher.
  2. Add fresh lime juice and the peels in it.
  3. Pour rum into the pitcher.
  4. Full 3/4 of the pitcher with ice.
  5. Pour Roses cocktail lime juice.
  6. Pour simple syrup in it.
  7. Add club soda and mix everything in the pitcher properly with the muddler.

To serve:

  1. Pour the Mojito into the glass.
  2. Put little fresh leaves of mint on top of it.
  3. Lay a thinly cut slice of the lemon on the rim of the glass.
