Ingredients for Shrimps Two Ways
- 10 Tiger shrimp
- 1 fresh lime
- 1 small Onion
- 6-7 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons sweet and chili sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
- mushroom soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon butter unsalted
- 100 ml white wine
- 1 tomato
- salt
- black pepper
- Fresh Cilantro
- fresh parsley
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
Get Ready To Work in “Real Time” to Make Shrimps Two Ways :
Get out these items and utensils: Knife for chopping, 2 frying pans
Get from your pantry: Salt, pepper, olive oil, sweet and chili sauce, garlic, Onion, red chili flakes, mushroom soy sauce, white wine
Get from your refrigerator: Tiger Shrimp, lime, tomato, fresh Cilantro, fresh parsley
Pre-prepare the following:
- Peel, devein and clean the shrimp.
- Mince garlic.
- Finely dice 1/8 of the small onion.
- Finely dice tomato.
Begin to cook with Chef Simmons:
Prepare SHRIMP ALA DIABLA (Shrimp from devil)
- Heat the pan and pour 3 table spoon of olive in it.
- Lay shrimp in it. Cook for a min.
- Put finely diced onion in the pan.
- Add minced garlic in the pan. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add sweet and chili sauce and caramelized it for 1 minute.
- Add finely diced tomato.
- Add red chili fakes.
- Squeeze 1/2 of the fresh lime into the pan.
- Add soy sauce into the pan.
- Cook it for 3 minutes or so.
- Add chopped cilantro in the pan.
Prepare SHRIMP ALA OHIO (Shrimp in garlic)
- Heat the pan and pour 3 table spoon of olive oil in the pan.
- Lay shrimp in the pan. Sprinkle salt and freshly grounded pepper on the shrimps.
- Flip over when turn brownish in color.
- Add minced garlic in the pan. Cook it for 45 seconds or so. Do not let the garlic let brown.
- Add white wine in the pan and cook till it reduces to half.
- Add finely diced tomato. Cook it for 1 minute.
- Add unsalted butter into the pan and melt it for 45 seconds. Do not heat the butter too much.
To serve:
For SHRIMP ALA DIABLA (Shrimp from devil)
- Lay the shrimp from the pan onto the serving plate.
- Add finely chopped cilantro on the top of shrimp.
For SHRIMP ALA OHIO(Shrimp in garlic)
- Lay the shrimp from the pan onto the plate.
- Garnish it with finely chopped parsley.
