Penne Feta Salad

Summary:Creamy and healthy pasta salad made with fresh vegetables and herb has very strong taste of garlic is an excellent side dish for summer time barbeque.

Prep time and Cooking time (duration): 10 minutes

Number of servings (yield): 4


Ingredients for Penne feta salad:
  • Baby spinach
  • Feta cheese 6 ounces
  • 2 roman tomatoes
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh basil
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 bowl of pasta

Get Ready To Work in “Real Time” to Make Penne feta salad:

Get out these items and utensils: Knife for cutting & chopping, 1 salad bowl

Get from pantry: Kosher Salt

Get from refrigerator: Baby spinach, Feta cheese, Roman tomatoes, Fresh basil, Garlic cloves

Pre-prepare the following:

  • Finely cut thin slices of garlic
  • Dice roman tomato
  • chop fresh basil
  • Crush 5 ounces of feta cheese with your hands
  • Cook the pasta in boiling water with little salt in it
Begin to cook with Chef Burpee & Chef Tedesco:

  1. Add baby spinach in the bowl
  2. Add finely sliced garlic in it
  3. Add basil in it
  4. Add crushed feta cheese in it
  5. Add tomatoes in it
  6. Add pasta in it
  7. Add extra virgin olive oil in it
  8. Sprinkle little bit of kosher salt in it and stir thoroughly everything in the bowl with serving spoon
  9. Hot pasta in combinations with feta cheese and olive oil give it a smooth creamy texture

To Serve:

  1. Put the salad on the plate.
  2. Garnish it with thinly sliced feta cheese
